Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was central and convenient for exploring downtown, but the room assigned to me was below expectations, with issues like a moldy smell and an uncollected tray that caused me to twist my ankle. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff members making my stay enjoyable despite the room mishaps.
The hotel had good-sized beautiful and clean rooms, but the hallway markings were poor. The service was superb, with staff willing to assist immediately. The location was nice, near Jacksonville University, with inviting furniture and amenities like a pool table. The dining experience was excellent with great variety but challenging to pay. Overall, it's a friendly hotel with excellent service and amenities, though dining payment can be tricky.
The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable, with enough room to have a few guests over, which was a nice surprise. However, there were issues with a wet floor under the carpet, dirty bathrooms, and overall cleanliness of the rooms. The service was friendly enough and even informed me about a tattoo conference happening. The location, directly on the St John's River, was excellent but limited light at the back obstructed the view. The dining experience was pricey and not exceptional. The facilities were modern and adequately maintained.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were quiet and peaceful, beautifully appointed and had the right size for the seminar, the sweaty walk to my room at the end of two kind corridors was a downside.
